I specialize in empirically supported treatments for OCD and related disorders. I have trained and worked, treating the OCD population, beginning in 2017. Most recently, I was the Director of the Intensive Outpatient Program for OCD & related anxiety disorders at New York Anxiety Treatment in New York, New York. I co-developed this evidence-based intensive outpatient treatment in 2022. This is the first 6-week intensive option available for individuals with OCD and severe anxiety in the greater New York area. I have presented work and facilitated trainings regarding evidence-based treatments for OCD, locally in New York and nationally.

I transitioned to private practice, allowing me to devote more time to my 1:1 patients. In addition to working with individuals with anxiety, I enjoy working with families and friends of individuals with OCD to help them best support their loved ones who are struggling.  

In 2023, I completed training through Postpartum Support International to treat perinatal and postpartum mental health disorders. I am particularly interested in perinatal and postpartum OCD and am passionate about helping families and individuals facing these challenges.

I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University, and completed my clinical internship at The Center for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy in New York, New York with Steven Phillipson, PhD. I completed my post-graduate hours at New York Anxiety Treatment under the supervision of Anna R. Edwards, PhD. and continued with the practice following my training as a fully licensed clinician and IOP Director.

Before attending graduate school, I worked in various other fields including scriptwriting, production and hospitality. I’ve learned first hand that it’s never too late to make the choice to take a risk.

I am look forward to continuing to offer virtual treatment in the northeast while I expand my practice to Johnson City, Tennessee. I am currently offering in person session in Johnson City; located in Northeast Tennessee in the Appalachian Mountains. My office is located an hour north of Asheville, North Carolina and 25 minutes west of Bristol, Virginia and 90 minutes east of Knoxville, TN.
